Brazil Holds Presidential Election as Incumbent Lula Faces Flávio Bolsonaro

How coverage differs

Coverage focuses heavily on the Israel-related stances of the candidates. Newsru and Israel Hayom emphasize Lula's past accusations of genocide against Israel and persona-non-grata status alongside Flávio Bolsonaro's pledge to move Brazil's embassy to Jerusalem. Maariv highlights voter apathy and unfulfilled campaign promises, while Now14 focuses on economic issues and corruption scandals in the tight race.
