US Withdraws B-1 Bombers from UK Base Following Alleged Iranian Plot
What happened
The US Pentagon confirmed the withdrawal of all B-1 strategic bombers stationed at RAF Fairford in the UK back to their home bases in the United States following a foiled Iranian-backed terror plot against the base.
How coverage differs
While central outlets focus on the details of the IRGC-linked conspiracy and the Pentagon's reassurance of global strike capabilities from US soil, right-leaning outlets like Now14 and Srugim emphasize the move as 'dramatic' or indicative of broken trust between the US and the UK following the release of the arrested suspects on bail.
