Benny Gantz Insists He Will Not Drop Out of Election, Rejects Threshold Concerns
What happened
Benny Gantz released a public statement and campaign video three weeks before the election, claiming internal polls show his party passing the electoral threshold and rejecting calls to step down.
How coverage differs
Ynet and Maariv highlight the discrepancy between Gantz's claims of having over five seats and public polls showing him failing to cross the threshold, with Ynet reporting assurances from his inner circle. JDN, Srugim, and Israel Hayom focus on Gantz's direct message to hesitant voters and his rationale for rejecting a reserved spot in Likud.
